Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
It is part of our DNA.
Diversity is who we are, equity is what empowers all, and inclusion is how we embrace and engage each person. We create a workplace where every employee’s unique perspective is valued and represented to deliver the best service to our clients. We encourage, support, and celebrate a strong sense of belonging and the common platform to grow and succeed together.
We’ve built something special: a company with a fulfilling and award-winning culture based on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and the core tenants of Work, Love, and Play.
DE&I is Embedded in Our Values

How We Define DE&I

President’s Statement

DE&I Council
The DE&I Council at ABD works as a steering committee to help make sure we are attracting, motivating, and retaining team members from diverse backgrounds while bringing diverse thought and leadership to our company.
The DE&I Council works to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging where all members of The ABD Team feel they are treated fairly, respected, and represented. They strive for all employees to have a healthy work and personal life balance and are empowered to excel, as they are, in their respective careers.

Alvin Tillery speaks at ABD's Conscious and Unconscious Bias Panel
Every leader needs a CREED doctrine. Alvin's framework includes: Common purpose, Research, Equanimity, Empathy, Deliverable. What CREED doctrine will you live by?

DE&I Council members speak at the launch of ABDHer
Women today face the challenge of being over mentored, yet under sponsored. ABD is on a mission to create an inclusive culture that facilitates the advancement and sponsorship of ALL women within our organization, while enabling women to be their most authentic selves at ABD.

ABDers discuss the importance of universal love
Through conversations of universal love for all people, we can begin to hold on to the progress we have made or the concept of universal love of one another. This is how we move forward, confront bias, challenge each other, and hold each other accountable.
Employee Resource Groups
An Employee Resource Group (ERG) is a group of employees who identify with others like themselves.
This may include race, gender, age, sexual orientation, working parents, functional level, disability, veterans, etc. The group comes together and actively engages and gathers around a unifying mission.
At ABD, we have four ERGs that provide support and community for our employees.

ABDHer

BLACK at ABD
We aim to enhance the Black employee experience at ABD by creating opportunities for development, advancement, leadership, and cultural awareness.
ABDRemote
We aim to create a community for remote workers and allies to share ideas and best practices for supporting our remote workforce.
ABDFirstGen
